Camping with Grandpa and Grandma Munter and seeing Thomas the Train

We called this the tree with a tummy.

7th Annual Molitor Family Just Tri 2010

For the last 7 years Mitch and Marilyn have headed up a family triathalon held the very beginning of July. It has been such a blast! We start off with a 1/4 mile swim off Dad and Mom Molitor's dock, head out on a 13 mile bike ride out to Moses Point Golf Course and then around the peninsula for a 3.2 mile run. This is a tremendous work-out but also incredibly fun way to spend the day! We finish up with a potluck brunch at Mitch and Marilyn's. I believe there were about 50 friends/family that showed up this year. Some did all of it, some helped out and some completed it as a team.

Spring 2010

We had Easter lunch at our house and had a great time.
We also got to meet Bradly Stuart, Sue's now, fiance!

Sammy is like his Daddy. He likes to read the paper and keep up with all that's going on.

Even on a cool April day, Luke is ready to get in the water! That boy is a fish!

We've got the sweetest cat, Mittens. He loves being around those wild boys.

Attempting to potty train Sammy at 23 months. We discovered he just
wasn't ready quite yet after a busy and wet day!

As spring came and the sun came out the boys enjoyed time outdoors, especially time in the mud.

Bath Time (Feb. 2010)

Bath time is always a fun and exciting time at our house.

Luke and Calvin

Luke just loves his cousin Calvin! They make such a great pair! I don't usually use the term "best" friend because it sounds exclusive, but I just can't help but say the Calvin is Luke's "best" friend! Luke prays for Calvin every day!

Winter 2010

We had a great winter this year. Hiking, birthdays, and fun times with family and friends.

Christmas 2009

As you can see, I have been lacking in the blogging department! You may have read in my previous post, that I had made a goal to blog this year. Life can get a bit hectic and I can get a bit unmotivated, so let's try this again! Here I go to try to make up lost ground.

Here's the scoop:

We enjoyed Christmas 2009 very much, although it sure was different than any other Christmas I have encountered so far, as you will read. We spent the Christmas Eve with the Molitor family and had a marvalous time. After hitting the sack that night, we were awoken, not to the sound of reindeer on the roof, but to Luke up-chucking the delicious meals we had eaten the previous day! Although we were very exhausted after such an eventful night, we enjoyed Christmas morning with Marie's parents at our house. We did not venture over the the Munter house like usual. We instead hunkered down at home that day, and then for the next week or more, after the rest of us came down with the flu as well. As you can see from the pictures Luke wasn't about to let the flu get him down on Christmas Day! We still had a great time together. We are so, so grateful for the gift of Jesus Christ who has saved us from our sin.
